Your Wedding Day
Blue skies and crystal clear waters for your ceremony location and the backdrop for all your photographs, then a beautiful boat cruise to take you onto your reception - an open air venue to dance to your hearts desire under the stars. As the fairytale comes to a close you will take your little piece of Rhodes with you to watch time and time again and to remember your magical day spent here.
Justine will be with you every step of the way, making that description a reality for your big day. We take all the stress out of the the wedding so you can relax and enjoy the sun before your big day. All you have to do is turn up!The Booking Procedure
From your initial enquiry we will send you all a quotation with all costs of services and packages. If you have already chosen your date we will then check its availability.
Once the deposit is received we will send you the following:
- Receipt
- Letter of confirmation enclosing all the details of your booking including wedding date, time, ceremony venue ,reception venue and the date that your paperwork and final payment is due
- Copy of legal documents required (see the legal paperwork requirements by clicking here) that is required for you to be able marry in Greece.
Arrival in Rhodes
On your arrival in Rhodes you will have a full consultation with Justine, and she will accompany you to your chosen venues and finalise all you wedding arrangements.You will be given an itinery of your wedding day which you and your guests can refer to. At this meeting you will also, if booked, pay for all your extra services and a receipt will be issued.
Preparation on the Big Day
Justine will contact you on the morning of your wedding day to reconfirm all arrangements and check if there are any last minute details to arrange. She will then plan the day accordingly, organisng all the extra services booked, personally checking the flowers and bouquets and communicating with her team. Justine will then stay with the bride, whilst Caz decorates and arranges the ceremony area and waits to meet your guests. Michele will be at the reception venue finalising all details and decorations. Once everything is completed to her satisfaction she will then leave to join he bridal party at the ceremony location.>
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony itself will be a civil ceremony and depending on your chosen location would last between 5-10 minutes. Many couples wish to extend the ceremony by exchanging their own vows, or by having a poem or reading by one of their wedding guests. We can also arrange for your chosen music to be played at the ceremony venue for the bride's arrival or as background music during the ceremony. Some locations also allow drinks to be served such as champagne, beer and wine after the ceremony (there would be an additional charge for this service).
After the ceremony, if you have booked a boat cruise you will be escorted by Michele and after she will take you to your reception venue where Justine will be waiting to assist you. One co-ordinator will stay until the first dance or cutting of the cake.
Marriage Licence
Weddings in Lindos,Kalithea spa and Faliraki will allow you to sign your official marriage licence after the wedding ceremony. All other wedding venues on Rhodes requset that you go to the relevant town hall to sign the next day. In the event that your wedding ceremony was held on a Friday you will go on Monday morning. You will be accompanied by one of our wedding planners. You will also require two witnesses who will need to bring their passports with them. We will then organise the translation and legalisation of the certificate which will then be posted recoreded delivery to you. Once you have received the certificate approximately two weeks later you will be required to take it to your local registry office.
